Following the success of the Specsavers GO-TRI at the Arena, the newest triathlon challenge has arrived in Camberley and entries are now open!
The Camberley Sprint Triathlon, which is designed to bridge the gap between beginner triathlons and the full distance, takes place on Sunday 23 September.
Competitors start with a 400 metre swim in the Arena Leisure Centre before cycling 20km around a picturesque Camberley course. There’s a final 5km run to the finish line where a medal awaits.
It’s the perfect test of endurance in a professional, friendly environment. All abilities welcome, from first-timers to experienced triathletes.
It’s also open to enter as a team ‘relay’ event, where a group of three people each complete one of the legs of the triathlon (swim, cycle or run).
So if you’d like to take part, but don’t think you’re quite up to completing the whole triathlon, it’s a great opportunity to grab two of your friends, work colleagues or family members and demonstrate some teamwork!
Entry is open to anyone 16 and over, and costs £35. What are you waiting for?
