The Square recently welcomed hundreds of families to their free half-term events, inviting children to enjoy a new activity each day!
The free activities arrived at the centre from Monday 17th to Friday 21st February, seeing families spend quality time together as part of The Square’s Kids Camp.
Local performance school, ‘The Secret Stage School’ started the week off with lots of high energy, teaching children a range of theatre and acting skills alongside dance. (See picture above)
On Tuesday 18th and Wednesday 19th February, children were tasked to get ‘hands-on’ with arts and crafts workshops. Families could be seen making their own treasure and abstract art. Wednesday afternoon also saw Camberley Judo teach children the art of Judo.
Mrs Potts’ Place ventured into outa space with galaxy themed arts and crafts on Thursday 20th February. Children had the chance to create their very own nebular jar to take home and show their friends and family.
The Square’s Kids Camp finished on a high on Friday 21st February, seeing children meet their favourite furry friends up close!
The Square’s Marketing Manager, Joana Santos added: “It was great to welcome back our popular Kids Camp during the half term, seeing new and existing faces enjoy our free events and activities. The jam-packed week saw children enjoy taking part in several events, from dancing and acting lessons, to arts and crafts and of course making some new furry friends!”
