Christmas arrived at The Square Camberley last weekend (Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd December) with the shopping centre welcoming Father Christmas, free festive arts and crafts and their Sleeping Beauty event.
It wouldn’t be Christmas without a visit from Santa Clause himself! Families headed to The Square’s Christmas Grotto, which opened on Saturday 1st December to meet Father Christmas and receive a present1!
The Christmas Grotto is now open every day at The Square right up until Christmas Eve, families can pre-book their tickets at www.bookfatherchristmas.co.uk/camberley. Children can also post their letters to Santa in The Square’s talking post box, located Cambridge Square (outside House of Fraser).
Families had bundles of fun with The Square’s Pixie House activities, seeing children enjoy story telling sessions and Christmas card making on Saturday 1st December. The fun didn’t stop there, as on Sunday 2nd December little ones had a great time decorating their own gingerbread men and getting messy with Santa and Christmas tree slime! The Pixie House activities will be taking place every weekend in December*.
If that wasn’t enough, The Square also hosted their Sleeping Beauty event throughout the weekend, coinciding with Camberley Theatre’s Sleeping Beauty Panto. Little shoppers had great fun dressing up as Prince and Princesses, posing for pictures on The Square’s throne and enjoying the free face painting!
Joana Santos, Marketing Manager at The Square Camberley, said: “Families had plenty of festive fun throughout the first weekend in December and it was great to see so many little shoppers getting into the Christmas spirit! We can’t wait to welcome Breakfast with Santa and our Giant Snow Globe next weekend!”
Breakfast with Santa
The Square is also welcoming breakfast with Santa this Christmas! On the 15th and 22nd December, families will have the chance to meet and have breakfast with Santa at Patisserie Valerie and Frenchies respectively. The event costs £10 per child and spaces can be booked at The Square’s Customer Service.
The Square will also be inviting families to step inside their giant snow globe on Sunday 9th December. Shoppers will be able to create lasting Christmas memories with a free photograph taken by a professional photographer inside the Giant Snow Globe!
Late Night Shopping
Throughout December, shoppers to The Square can also benefit from the centre’s Late Night Shopping. Open until 8pm every Thursday, The Square is also offering shoppers a free gift** if they spend more than £50 after 5pm. Visitors can also benefit from £1 parking fees after 5pm.
