On Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th December, The Square Camberley welcomed festive arts and crafts as part of their free fun for all the family over the Christmas season.

Located in the shopping centre’s Pixie House, on Saturday 15th December from 11am to 1pm, families had the chance to sit down, listen, and laugh about ‘The dinosaur that pooped Christmas’ with The Square’s story telling session. From 2pm – 4pm, little shoppers then had great fun creating their own snow globes to show off to friends and family.

The Pixie House then welcomed Santa Slime and Christmas Tree Slime arts and crafts on Sunday 16th December. Families spent quality time together whilst getting messy and creating some colourful goo! In the afternoon children enjoyed making their own hand-made Christmas cards, to be sent to their loved ones.

Joana Santos, Marketing Manager at The Square Camberley, said: “It was great to see so many families enjoying themselves with our Pixie House festive themed arts and crafts. Surrey Heath’s Christmas Music Concert was also a great success, seeing shoppers get into the Christmas spirt with live festive music.”

The Square then welcomed Surrey Heath’s Christmas Music Concert – as part of the Camberley Be Enchanted Christmas events programme. The live music follows the centre welcoming an evening of Christmas Carols during their Late Night Shopping on Thursday 13th December.

The Christmas Concert took place over Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th December, with local stars such as Jack Mason (who made the X-Factor finals) and the popular Michael Buble tribute (performed by Mark Daniels) proving to be a great hit.

The whole weekend saw shoppers getting into the Christmas spirit whilst visiting their favourite stores and stocking up with presents for the big day!

The Square’s Christmas Grotto was also in full swing throughout the weekend, with children meeting Father Christmas and receiving a present to put under their Christmas tree.

Families will have the chance to meet Santa Clause right up until Christmas Eve1, tickets can be pre booked here – www.bookfatherchristmas.co.uk/camberley Children can also post their letters direct to Lapland in The Square’s talking post box, located Cambridge Square (outside House of Fraser).
