Christmas is coming to Camberley with a visit from PJ Masks next week.

As part of the Camberley Christmas Light Switch On event on Saturday 18th November, The Square will be welcoming a special visit from PJ Masks.

Catboy and Owlette from the children’s TV programme will be making personal appearances at intervals between 11am and 4pm.

Joana Santos, Marketing Manager at The Square Camberley, said: “We’re really looking forward to launching our festive season with a visit from Catboy and Owlette from PJ Masks. They’re really popular children’s characters and are sure to be a big hit with our shoppers, especially as they’ll be visiting us on the day the Christmas Lights will be switched on in Camberley.”

The Camberley Christmas Light Switch On is a free family fun day and a great way to kick start the festive season. This year’s celebrations are bigger and better then before with Christmas Farmers Markets, Choirs, Bands and much more.
And the festive fun doesn’t end there…

With free events every day from 19th November to 24th December including arts and crafts, gingerbread decoration and more, there’s something fun for everyone. For a full list of events visit

In the big countdown to Christmas, there will also be a Christmas Treasure Hunt in The Square. Shoppers are invited to find 10 clues hidden around The Square for the chance to win a Christmas treat*.

And of course, it wouldn’t be Christmas without a visit from Father Christmas himself. Write your letter to Father Christmas and pop it into The Square’s Postbox. The Grotto will then be at The Square from Friday 1st December every day until Christmas Eve. A visit to Father Christmas is £4 and includes a gift. You can pre-book your tickets at
