The Nut Job 2 – Nutty By Nature

Surly the squirrel is back, and this time he’s up against an army of bulldozers in this animated comedy.

After their ordeal securing their home at Nibblers Nut Shop, squirrels Surly (Will Arnett) and Andie (Katherine Heigl) and their furry friends thought they finally had it made.

Until the shop explodes!

Their belongings, shelter and, most importantly, peanut butter is completely destroyed. They must find a new place to live – and quick.

Luckily, just around the corner, there’s a lush forest, golden sunshine and enough food for everyone. The beauty of Liberty Park beckons, and they decide to settle there, where they’ll have space to thrive and plenty of nuts to go around. Home at last.

Until the Mayor (Bobby Moynihan) announces his plans to bulldoze every single inch of it. He’s going to rip up every tree, trample every meadow and pluck every last flower so he can build a giant amusement park and make bags of money.

But Surly isn’t prepared to let that happen. With the help of Andie, along with Precious the pug (Maya Rudolph) and the other misfit animals, he sets out to stop The Mayor and his bulldozers in their tracks…

The hilarious sequel to the 2014 hit animated comedy, The Nut Job 2: Nutty By Nature is directed by Cal Brunker, who has been part of the team behind Despicable Me and The Secret Life of Pets.

The film stars the vocal talent of Arnett (The Lego Batman Movie), Heigl (Grey’s Anatomy) and Rudolph (The Angry Birds Movie).
